27-Year-Old Woman’s “Milk-Colored Blood” Shocks Doctors — Popular Drink Blamed As Hidden Cause

A 27-year-old woman in China was rushed to the hospital after developing severe abdominal pain and extreme fatigue, but what shocked medical staff most was the appearance of her blood.

According to reports, doctors discovered that her blood was no longer the normal dark red color. Instead, it appeared thick, cloudy, and white like milk — a dangerous warning sign linked to extremely high fat levels in the bloodstream.

Medical tests later revealed that her total cholesterol level was seven times higher than normal, while triglyceride levels had reportedly risen to nearly sixty times the healthy range.

Doctors diagnosed the woman with acute pancreatitis caused by severe hyperlipidemia, a life-threatening condition that required emergency treatment. Specialists warned that without immediate intervention, the condition could have led to multiple organ failure or even death.

After investigating her lifestyle habits, doctors discovered that the woman had been drinking around three cups of bubble milk tea every day for several months.

According to physicians, sugary milk tea drinks contain extremely high amounts of sugar, calories, and fat. Excessive long-term consumption may cause fat to accumulate in the blood, increasing the risk of inflammation, metabolic disorders, and damage to the pancreas.

Experts warn that severe hyperlipidemia does not only affect the pancreas. Over time, it may also contribute to:

  • hardened arteries,
  • heart disease,
  • stroke,
  • type 2 diabetes,
  • liver and kidney problems,
  • and accelerated aging.

Doctors say younger people are increasingly developing conditions once mainly associated with older adults due to modern diets high in sugar, processed foods, and sweet beverages.

Health specialists recommend limiting sugary drinks such as:

  • bubble milk tea,
  • soda,
  • sweetened coffee,
  • and desserts,

while also maintaining regular exercise, proper sleep, stress management, and annual health checkups.

Many internet users were left shocked after learning that a drink consumed casually every day by millions of young people could potentially contribute to such a dangerous medical emergency.
